TELL STORIES IN A WHOLE NEW WAY
DANCE - A reflection of my thoughts and Choreographic interventions
Concept: Nava means 9 and Rasa means emotions. This story depicts the prime human emotions. It portrays each human emotion to communicate the importance of maintaining an emotional stability in life.
Concept : Have you experienced an internal battle about whats is the "right" thing to do in a peculiar situation? The dice game from Mahabharatha, an ancient Indian epic, deals with moral dilemmas we have to face in our lives.
Concept: The choreography depicts expressing one's innermost feelings without inhibitions. To surrender ourselves to the moment and express through moments, whats too deep to find words by using multi dimension music. I chose this theme as I believe that being fearless and believing what the human mind can achieve can take us a long way in life.

IMAGINE- FEEL - CONNECT - REPEAT

Growing up, I was completely enthralled by dance as a fundamental medium to convey a story.
Being creative together, balancing complex story structures with simplicity, the knack to convey a story effectively without words and smart use of indirect control are the main principles I have adopted while directing theme - based dance choreographies.

I have led teams and won several challenges focusing on emotional story lines where I gave great emphasis on how we want the guest and audience to feel at the end of the experience.

I have extended my storytelling skills to VR and exploring so much more !

What's the story about?

-
The story portrays a sleep paralysis incident from a first person's perspective.

Design:

-
One of biggest challenge was learning how to direct the guest's attention to where we want them to look in the 360 view.
-
We used visual techniques such as a particular music and physical movements to draw the guest's attention.
Storyboards:
We carefully placed the camera in a smart way so that it remains still throughout and does not hinder the 360 view port.
